This house is a take on vernacular architecture from a modernist approach. A strategic play of arrangement of spaces ensures all the 5 bedrooms and the living spaces in this two floored structure get their its ample share of lighting and ventilation through direct or indirect connect to the outside.

Architecture and Interiors
A central courtyard with a twisted cube skylight is the core of the structure and its philosophy. It also acts as a visual connect between the vertical zones and all the other functional spaces are placed around this core based on their privacy and accessibility. The vertical fins in the courtyard placed as per the sun movement brings enough lighting without letting the heat inside while the double walls in the bedrooms aid as heat barriers.
The trapezoidal form of pooja room for skylight, surrounded by a water body and the hanging deck on the front façade instigates curiosity and elevates the overall aesthetics.
